Olympic Displays

Olympic Displays is a trading name of D H Design Consultants Limited. D H Design Consultants Limited is registered in England & Wales under Company No. 05997063 at registered office situated at 18 Punch Croft, New Ash Green, Longfield DA3 8HP. Our trading address is the Brewery Stables, 5 Bourne Road, Bexley, Kent DA5 1LG.

Method of communication

Any document which is required by these terms to be given in writing may be sent by you to us at our email address enquiries@olympicdisplays.com and by us to you at the email address supplied by you to us on this website.

Our Goods and Services

Our goods and services are as described on this website. Colours, appearance and other physical characteristics may differ from the images shown. We reserve the right to withdraw any item without prior notice. If the original is not available we may provide a substitute but we will pay the cost of return of any products supplied as substitutes if they are returned unused within 30 days or If the original is not available at the time of purchase we will notify you by email and inform you when it is likely to be available. If you do not wish to wait you may then cancel the order or accept any substitute offered.

Prices and payment

The price of our goods and services are as described on this website. The cost of delivery to be charged to the customer is as shown on this website at the time of purchase. All goods and services are available as an invitation to treat and we reserve the right to correct any typographic, photographic and descriptive errors prior to sale. Prices are shown net of VAT which will be added at the rate applicable at the date of sale. Payment must be made on the website at the time of purchase. If we agree to accept payment made by cheque we shall be under no obligation to despatch goods until the cheque has cleared. If someone uses your credit card without your knowledge for any kind of distance purchase, you can cancel the transaction and the card issuer will refund the money. You should notify your card issuer as soon as possible if your card is stolen or you suspect dishonest use.

Delivery

Goods will be delivered by courier service in the United Kingdom. If goods are not received within three days, following the agreed dispatch date, please inform us. The time of delivery is not of the essence of the contract.

Faulty goods

If goods delivered are faulty you should notify us in writing and these should be returned to us for inspection. We warrant that goods will remain of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose in the course of normal use for 6 months from the date of delivery. If goods are not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose you should notify us in writing and these should be returned to us for inspection. If we accept that the goods were delivered in an unsatisfactory condition or are not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose, we will pay the cost of postage (provided that a receipt for the postage accompanies the goods returned) and offer you a replacement or a refund (including the cost of delivery). Alternatively, at our option, we may collect goods following notification as above. The statutory rights of consumers are not affected by these terms.

Cancellation Policy

Provided we have given you certain written information no later than when the goods are delivered, you have 7 working days from delivery in which to cancel the goods. If you had not received the written information when the goods were delivered but did so within 3 months, you have 7 working days from the day after you received the written notice in which to cancel. If you we not give you the written information at all your cancellation rights will end 3 months and 7 working days after delivery of the goods. You must notify us of your intention to cancel in writing. You have a duty to take reasonable care of goods throughout the cancellation period although this does not prevent you from inspecting the product. In the event of failure to comply with the duty to take reasonable care of cancelled goods we have the right to bring proceedings for the loss of value in the goods. If you notify us of your intention to cancel in writing we will inform you in writing that we intend to collect the goods and make arrangements with you in this respect. If after arrangements are made for the goods to be collected you fail to make them available for collection we may bring proceedings for breach of your statutory duty to return the goods or make them available for collection and/or for conversion.

Complaints

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our goods or service please notify us in writing. We shall acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and provide you with a written response within 10 working days unless we are unable to do so in which case we will notify you when we expect to be able to provide a response.
